"Reconciliation" - God's Perfect Plan of Redeeming Mankind

The Vision

I saw by the Spirit what God's plan to reconcile man back to Himself encompassed.  Christ was and is the center of it all.   Even before the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, God's perfect plan of redemption was already set in motion.

The Message

This painting is a portrait of God’s work on behalf of mankind.  Adam and Eve are standing together (bottom center) looking upon all that God carried out to reverse the curse brought on by their disobedience in the Garden.   On the left side, Noah’s Ark is seen perched upon the mountaintop with God’s covenant rainbow overhead.  God’s plan is told in the vignettes around the Star of David.  The Old Covenant is on the left-hand side of the star and the New Covenant is on the right side of the star. The center of the Star is the victorious resurrection of Jesus Christ of who it was prophesied that the Messiah would come from the tribe of Judah.  Everything around the left side of this star  (David slaying Goliath;  Moses being found on the river in Egypt; Abraham sacrificing Isaac;  The Ten Commandments) tells the story of preparing for His coming.  The right side of the star depicts the life of Jesus (His birth, baptism, death, and resurrection)  along with His overcoming ministry to reconcile us back to God.
